Body of women found without torso. Panic and horror in the city amongst the residents. Crime Branch teams and local police are investigating the case, attempting to identify the woman through the suitcase and other clues. Authorities are also searching for additional body parts.
Inspector Naresh Kumar, SHO of Khedipul police station, said the victim appeared to be between 35 and 40 years old. Locals alerted the police after noticing a foul smell emanating from the suitcase. Upon opening it, officers made the grisly discovery.
DCP Central Usha Devi, who arrived at the scene with the Crime Branch, said, “The condition of the torso is severely deteriorated. The suitcase seems to have been dumped here about a week ago. We are questioning nearby residents for leads.”
